Whipped Soap is a soft, fluffy, and moisturizing soap base that can be used as hand soap, body wash, shaving cream, or even face wash. It’s a fun alternative to traditional soap bars and liquid body washes that can often feel harsh or stripping on the skin. They are typically made with a mix of skin-loving oils and butters, fragrance, and a skin-protecting glycerin. And they offer an indulgent spa-like experience when used in the shower or bath.

Whilst most whipped soap recipes require the use of lye, at Zoey koko we have created a recipe that can be made using just water. It is made with a blend of hard, shea butter, and non-greasy humectants such as glycerin. We also add a natural emollient, Apricot Kernel Oil, which is known to provide skin-loving benefits such as nourishing and moisturizing the skin.

The ingredients are melted together in a double boiler, and then blended to a creamy consistency. Once it has reached this stage, we use an immersion blender to combine everything until a smooth, creamy texture is obtained. Once it is whipped, the soap is added to its container of choice and then topped with a preservative. We recommend using a preservative that has a PH of around five or six to prevent the soap from curdling when exposed to water.

To use, simply scoop out a desired amount of whipped soap onto your hands or bath pouf, wet your skin, and begin to rub gently all over your body. Rinse off with warm water and follow with a hydrating body butter to lock in moisture and leave your skin feeling soft, smooth, and refreshed. Whipped Soap
